Star Formation and AGN Postdoctoral Positions at the KASI
KASI invites applications for one postdoctoral position to work on the study of initial conditions in low-mass star formation, x-ray (and radio) survey of AGNs and clusters, VLBI AGN astrometry, or AGN research with VLBI (polarization and structure evolution). The preferred beginning date is 2015 June but it is negotiable. The period will be two years with a possible one year extension upon successful performance. The successful applicant is expected to spend about 30% of his/her time to support the operations of KVN and TRAO 14m.
The postdoc will have a full access in a competition basis to all the resources and facilities in KASI. KASI resources and observing facilities include KVN, KaVA, TRAO 14-m telescope, JCMT through the East Asian Observatory, Gemini 8.1-m telescope, and ALMA through the East Asian Region.

The successful candidate will be provided with the remuneration (ing from around 35,000,000 Won (?32,000 USD) per annum; the currency conversion rate between US Dollar and Korean Won employed here is 1.00 USD equates 1,100 Korean Won) depending on qualification, research budget and financial supplement for health insurance and national pension, one-way airfare to join KASI (economy class), and dormitory for single person.
