Early-type galaxies seen by the GALEX UV telescope 2007-05-23

The recent development and ongoing observations of the Galaxy<br />
Evolution Explorer (GALEX) UV space telescope provide a better<br />
understanding of the star formation history in early-type galaxies.<br />
Here I will present the recent results of the GALEX observations for<br />
the early-type galaxies at 0 < z < 0.2, and discuss the UV upturn<br />
phenomenon, recent star formation, and AGN connection.<br />
