2014년 4월 30일 "UST in UST"에 등록된 기사입니다.
UST-KASI 캠퍼스 현판식 열려
-30개 캠퍼스 중 첫 현판 게시
UST는 출연(연)과 함께하는 UST를 나타내고,
각 캠퍼스에서 고등교육을 통한 인재 양성에 힘쓰고 있음을 강조하며
교수·학생의 소속감을 고취하기 위하여 각 캠퍼스에 UST 현판 부착을 추진하고 있습니다.
4월 30일, UST의 30개 캠퍼스 중 첫번째로 한국천문연구원 캠퍼스에 현판이 걸렸습니다.
연구원 정문에 부착된 현판은 대외적으로 방문자들에게 한국천문연구원이 UST의 캠퍼스임을 알리며,
출연(연)과 함께 인재 양성에 힘쓰는 UST의 정체성을 알리는 역할을 합니다.
이날 현판식에는 이은우 UST 총장, 박필호 한국천문연구원장, 박용기 UST 교무처장, 선광일 캠퍼스 대표교수와 UST 천문연 재학생들이 참가했습니다.
이은후 총장은 "현재 극지연구소, 한국식품연구원 등과 UST 캠퍼스 현판 부착을 협의 중 "이라며
"출연(연)과 함께하는 UST를 목표로 긴밀한 협력을 지속해 나갈 계획"이라고 말했습니다.
