How did the first galaxies transform the Universe from a dark, neutral state into the transparent cosmos we observe today? The Epoch of Reionization marks this dramatic transition, driven by the earliest generations of galaxies, yet the nature of these sources and how their radiation escaped into the intergalactic medium remain open questions. JWST is now providing the first detailed view of galaxies in this early era, revealing their physical properties and environments with unprecedented clarity. In this talk, I will present recent results from JWST studies of reionization-era galaxies, focusing on observational signatures such as strong emission lines, Lyman-alpha visibility, and evidence for ionized bubble structures. I will highlight the emerging importance of faint and extreme emission-line galaxies, which may play a major role in the ionizing photon budget. Together, these new observations are not only reshaping our current picture, but are paving the way toward a physically complete and observationally grounded understanding of how galaxies reionized the Universe.
